Meditation and Chanting gathering
in the Sanctuary
7.30 – 8.30 pm on Thursday evenings.
We will meet in front of the Lotus Yoga Centre at 7.20 pm and walk as a group to the Sanctuary.
It is advisable to wear walking shoes and you may like to bring a shawl/blanket and cushion for sitting on.
All are welcome, so please spread the word. No experience is necessary.
Attendance is by donation. Suggested koha $10 – $20
Bookings are essential.
The session begins with meditation, followed by the chanting of OM 108 times, and finishes with meditation.
According to Vedic philosopy, OM is the primordial sound from which the whole universe was created. OM represents all time: past, present, and future; and is beyond time itself. OM represents the eternal oneness of all that is, thus sounding OM directs our awareness toward the supreme Self, the true nature of the universe.
